What to expect from helmet diving:

  1. Meet the helmet diving team and collect equipment: You’ll be given a wetsuit and dive boots to give you protection.
  2. Safety briefing: The team will tell you how to communicate underwater. This will only take 5 minutes, and this is a good opportunity to ask questions!
  3. Head to the boat: Then, you’ll head out to the vessel in the water, where you will climb aboard the boat.
  4. Put the helmet on: Then, you’ll put the helmet onto your shoulders.
  5. Descend underwater: An instructor will then help to lower you 5 metres under the water onto the sand.
  6. Go for a walk underwater: Now you’re ready to walk along the sea floor and enjoy the magic of all the fish!
